The hair is amazingly soft, the curls are beautiful and this hardly sheds. I have washed it once and I have spayed it down with a leave-in/ water mix and both times, she retained her style. The curls are bouncy, the lace is believable and I get lots of comments & inquiries about this one. I came for another.
